Hi, I'm Dionne.

Me and my small team of kick-ass VAs provide business support to entrepreneurs and online businesses, giving them more freedom to develop their businesses and spend more time living their lives!

Becoming a virtual manager wasn’t always my plan!…

Before I became a VM, I was a fully-booked singing teacher for five years. I also ran a separate national singing school company, turning it into a Franchise and I was a Finalist in the EWIF New Franchisor of The Year Awards 2016.

“So how the hell did you become a VA?”

For a long while, I absolutely adored my singing businesses and honestly thought I’d do it forever. I was continuously learning and always thinking of new events to put on for my students, but after 5 years I found myself craving a new challenge. Maybe it’s because I never really wanted to be a singer and how can you teach singing forever if you don’t love performing yourself?

However, the main reason I became a VM is because I remember all too well how stressful it was running the singing schools company, Vocademy.

I would do absolutely everything, from chasing late payments, to preparing all of the term material to training the teachers and finding cover when they were ill.

It should have been an incredibly enjoyable business, but by the time I’d sold my third Franchise I was absolutely burnt out to the point of not wanting to get out of bed. So I got rid of the business.

If I’d just hired someone to help me with all of the admin and take some of the weight off my shoulders, I probably would have ran Vocademy for a couple of more years and then hopefully sold it and got a nice little tidy sum!

I know what it’s like to struggle every day and drown in work, never having enough time for yourself. You got into your business because you LOVE what you do, but if you’re not careful, you can end up burning out and losing your love for it. Don’t let that happen to you, hire a VA ;)
